Hinged Rings
Hinged rings, often also called clickers or clicker rings, are rings or hoops that close by a hinge instead of by a removable segment or a captive bead. Hinged rings are often easier to open and close than captive bead rings or segment rings because the pieces stay attached. The hinge also provides security in the closure because there is an audible click or snap when the hinge is locked into place, which is where the name “clicker” comes from. There is typically a small seam visible in the ring from the hinge, which shows where to apply pressure for opening and closing. Our collection of titanium, stainless steel and gold hinged rings come 14G, 16G, and 18G gauges with 5/16" (8 mm) and 3/8" (10 mm) diameters. There are also larger-gauge options in some styles going all the way up to 0G and 00G gauge.
